How far in advance should I book a planner?
We recommend booking a planner as soon as you make the decision to involve one, and ideally before any other vendors (including venue). In most cases, our clients book us around 18+ months prior to their wedding date, however this can vary with type of event. In certain instances, we’ve taken on events as close to 6 months out from their event date however our calendars fill up quickly and we cannot always accommodate requests as you get closer to your event date.
In order to be fully present with all our clients and give the best service, we take on a limited number of events each year. We highly recommend securing your planner as soon as you can, even for smaller parties and celebrations.
What are the benefits of a planner? Can’t I do this on my own?
Planning any party, but especially a wedding, is a full-time job - seriously. Most vendors operate during standard business hours and have limited availability on evenings and weekends - which is when many clients are able to meet and go over details. There are endless hours of planning that takes place when piecing together a larger function or celebration, and most people simply don’t have the capacity to manage while also maintaining a life and work of their own. More importantly, experience is the most important aspect of planning a wedding. Having a professional by your side or simply available to you when you have questions is a benefit you sometimes don’t know you need until you really need it. When it’s time for you to be celebrated, it’s hard to enjoy the process when you’re stressed about what could or should be happening.
Do you offer “day-of” or month-of coordination packages?
Yes, of course we do! As long as we have availability in our booking calendar, we can tailor a package to fit your wedding needs even if you’re managing all the planning and vendor bookings yourself. We typically jump in about 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding day to take over and manage the final details. Let’s chat for a deeper dive into how we can best assist you!
What are your starting prices for planning packages?
We custom tailor our packages to fit the needs of each client, as everyone’s event is different from the next, which means the financials look different for all clients and events as well. Higher budgets and more details tend to call for more planning hours on our end, so typically result in higher fees for our services. We do our best to work with all budgets, and ensuring your planner has a clear understanding of your vision and expectations is key to receiving an accurate quote for our services. That said, our base planning packages begin at $4,000 and generally range up to $6,500+ for larger-scale weddings (+dependent on guest count and planning logistics). Do you offer virtual planning services?
Of course we do. A lot has changed since the pandemic, and we’ve adapted the best we can. Virtual services are helpful to many couples, but not for everyone. Send us an email or fill out our contact form so we can get a better idea of how we can best help you out.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, in most cases, we charge a flat rate planning fee and require a deposit upon securing our services. Depending on your package, we will split up the payments in 2 to 4 installments throughout the planning process. The final payment schedule will be discussed with your planner to ensure you have a clear understanding of when your payments are due.
Can you help with our honeymoon planning too?
Absolutely! We have several add-on services that are more tailored to specific needs and honeymoon planning is one of them! We love to travel and know how important it is to be able to release and refresh after such a long planning journey (let’s face it, planning weddings isn’t easy even with the help of many professionals!). We have some great travel partners and can send you off to a variety of gorgeous, relaxing, and exceptionally fun destinations.
